Well, for a long time I’ve wondered what it’s like to use the Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM, which seems to be the perfect lens for quite a few applications such as sports photography, wildlife shots, and covering low-light indoor events from a distance. It turns out a fellow Microsoft co-worker named “Gavin Gee” (we’ve gotten eachother’s mail over the years quite a bit 🙂 ) was kind enough to loan me this lens over the weekend to do some photo work for church.
As the lady from Napoleon Dynamite said- “I WANT THAT!”
This lens is transforms your camera from “a camera with a lens attached to it” into “a lens with a camera attached to it”.
Here’s some shots I took walking around the neighborhood for a few minutes and in my studio:
Hey, those shots are great. Looks like you will be saving some pennies to be procuring one of those lenses in the future.

It’s going to take a lot of pennies 🙂
